At World Health Care Infrastructure, each functional team works in partnership with a group of staff with cultural and geographic expertise.
► Eastern and Central Europe: Ms. Natalja Karol, BA in Humanitarian Sciences, leads the work of WHCI in Eastern and Central Europe. For the past six years, Ms. Karol has coordinated and conducted a number of capacity building trainings for social workers, case managers, and other professionals working with people living with HIV/AIDS. Her work also includes experience with direct services such as an emergency food voucher program, a transitional referral program for incarcerated individuals living with HIV/AIDS, and prevention counseling and testing services. Ms. Karol has provided medical interpretation trainings and served as an interpreter and cultural broker in a variety of medical settings.
