Expertise The Work of World Health Care Infrastructure is conducted through teams that provide expertise to solve problems in a variety of critical health care issues. The leadership in each of these problem solving and capacity building teams is described below.
► Medical Care and Health Delivery Systems: WHCI's Medical Care and Health Delivery Systems Team is directed by Dr. Arthur Williams, MD. Dr. Williams, a medical graduate of the University of Maryland, conducted his residency and fellowships at the Medical College of Philadelphia. After completing his fellowship in Oncology, Dr. Williams served as the Oncologist for a leading internal medicine medical group. During that tome he treated patients with solid tumors (i.e. lung, breast and colon). Dr. Williams is a prominent internist and HIV specialist who currently serves as Attending Physician at both the Graduate Hospital and Miseracordia Hospital. He is the HIV clinical director for the Hamilton Health Center HOPE Clinic, and was the Director of HIV Medicine and Clinical Trials for Quality Health Care Associates. Dr. Williams is a community leader in the area of treatment compliance and treatment adherence, and is widely recognized as a top HIV/AIDS and infectious disease specialist. He is a speaker for all major HIV Pharmaceutical companies, such as Gilead, Glaxo Wellcome, Pfizer, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Dr. Williams was the recipient of the "Humanitarian Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Care of HIV Patients," and the "Surgeon General of the United States of America's Outstanding Physicians Award." ► click here to contact Dr. Arthur Williams
