At World Health Care Infrastructure, each functional team works in partnership with a group of staff with cultural and geographic expertise.
► North America and Central America: WHCI's work in North America and Central America is coordinated by Ms. Dolores Vera, BSN, MSEd. Ms Vera currently serves as a Technical Assistance Coordinator for WHCI. Ms Vera has worked to develop comprehensive training and education materials to promote culturally and linguistically appropriate HIV/AIDS messages. Prior to this work, Ms. Vera served as a program associate for the Circle of Care, a program designed to serve women, youth and families living with HIV/AIDS through a comprehensive service delivery strategy. Ms. Vera served as a Latino Education Coordinator for Planned Parenthood, and as a resource and curriculum coordinator for the University of Pennsylvania. Fluent in two languages (English and Spanish), /Ms. Vera has a Master's Degree in Science in Education (Human Sexuality) from the University o Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas, El Paso. ► click here to contact Ms. Dolores Vera |
